My name is Rebecca Ellison. I love people. I love photographs of people because they capture the essence of the inner soul so beautifully. I’ve always had this artistic side of me that yearns to create beauty while preserving those ‘forever’ moments. So it really was no surprise when I decided to embrace this passion wholeheartedly and completely by changing my dream of having a career in photography to a reality.
The people who surround all of us are genuine treasures. Each person has a story worth preserving for those who will follow in their footsteps. It is the desire of my heart that my photographs will help to record their story in a visual form not only for themselves, but for those who fill our lives with joy, love and reality. Photographs are a inheritance to be shared.
I love my family more than words can say. I have an amazingly supportive husband and 2 very cool dogs. This is a picture of my husband and I and our sweet puppies. My Husband is my rock and I dont know where I would be today without his support!
Photography for me is a way to remember all of the fun, exciting, and special moments in our lives. I grew up mostly in Colorado, but recently moved out here to Omaha, Nebraska. So far we are loving it! My favorite things in life: First and formost my faith, of course photography; but in particular photographing people, cooking tamales with my husband and his family, painting, my niece, family traditions, volleyball, ...There are too many to name! But at the core of my life is and will always be my Faith, my family and friends.
One thing I have learned is to make the most of each moment. So often in this life we can let the great moments pass us by. I love being able to catch couples and families in the moments when no one is looking. Those are the true moments that we can cherish. Those moments when you are surrounded by the people who love you most. I am the luckiest person in the world to have a job that lets me capture these moments for you to remember for a lifetime!
