When I first talked to Laura on the phone about the possibility of being her wedding photographer, something about us just clicked!  I could tell instantly that we were going to have a blast, and I am very excited to be their photographer for their Hollywood style wedding next June in Sioux City, IA.    We had originally planned to meet in Omaha for their engagement session, but the weather wasn’t so great, so we decided to be spontaneous and I drove up to Sioux City to do their shoot.  I must say, I am SO happy that we made the change.  Even though I had never been up to Sioux City, I love shooting in new places and was excited about the adventure.  Laura and Greg are so super cute and I had such a blast shooting their engagement around their urban downtown, and then in some amazing parks around town.   I especially loved when we went to do the ring shot and had the idea of putting the ring on their dog’s(Griffey) nose.  I however didn’t know that they had trained him to eat treats off his nose….luckily the ring was ok and we got some really cute shots!  Laura had the cool idea of putting on Griffey jerseys with their dog ( who is also named Griffey =) So cute!  These two were so fun and I Cant wait to photograph their Hollywood wedding at the Orpheum in Sioux City next Summer.   Congrats you two!

As a wedding Photographer, I love being able to photograph all types of different weddings.  I was honored to capture Randi and David’s backyard ceremony held at their own home.   I loved the intimate ceremony and the reception.  Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Randi and Davids love for each other beamed from both of them throughout the entire night.  We were able to sneak away for just a bit to get some cute pictures in a nearby park.  THe day was filled with laughter, love, and a few tears(but they of course were happy ones!)  I was touched by the love between these two.  Congratulations and and David!
